Shawn Peter Raul Mendes is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He gained following in 2013 after posting song covers on the application, Vine. The year after he caught the attention of the manager of Island Records, Andrew Gertler which led him to sign a deal with the record label. Since then he has released three studio albums, headlined three world tours and received several nominations and awards.
