Don't Hug Me I'm Scared is a group of puppets known for their incredibly catchy songs. Their band was created for the purpose of educating children on a range of subjects they may encounter in life. On July 29th 2011, there first song, Creativity, was released along with a music video to go with it and now has a mass of over 52 million views on YouTube. Over the years, the members started go onto other things and on the 19th of June 2016, the final song created by any one of these artist was released, Dreams by Yellow guy ft. The Lamp.
The group is primarily known for their puppet appearances; Yellow Guy, Duck Guy and Red Guy, these make them much more appealing towards children. They are akin to those featured in Sesame Street, but their music is much different to that created on Sesame Street.
