What is Elite: Dangerous?

Released in 2014, Elite: Dangerous is a space simulation game, set 1286 years in the future. The in-game time corrisponds with the time-zone it is played in, which has never been done before in a game of this size. The game is played in a 1:1 scale of the Milky Way Galaxy, and only 3.5% of it has actually been explored by players!

You start out in a small ship, with a handful of credits, and the rest is up to you. Every player killed, every transaction made, every warp jump taken, affects the entire game.
