Welcome to my website (Overwatch for dummies) which is a learning and educational based website dedicated to PS4 overwatch players that are struggling to get better at the game and unable to get out of their competivtive rank, most likley gold rank below and the majority of plat players.
Here is a brief introduction to what Overwatch is:
Overwatch is a 2016 team-based multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Described as a "hero shooter", Overwatch assigns players into two teams of six, with each player selecting from a large roster of characters, known as "heroes", with unique abilities.
The main areas where players make errors are in positioning, aim sens, crosshair, hero picks and in game interaction. This is usally due to lack of knowlegde among players that are freshly starting Overwatch.
The ways that you can improve is to take time training in practise range, workshop game modes and always go in deathmatch when you are waiting for your queue. Start making callouts when your playing with other players: This could be enemy locations that can be targeted or are out of place, cooldowns that have been used by the enemy and yourself, when an enemy has low health say like e.g. 'Rein one' to alert your team to target him because he can die.
