How to start

Hello im going to teach you how to get into the sport like many things practice makes perfect, You need some skis and ski boots to start and thats all you really need, Id recommend warm clothes and a helmet so if you fall over, your head will be protected.

The first thing your going to do is buy a ski pass for your local or nearest mountain, your pass can range from a 1 day pass to a season pass, A season pass is about around $1000+ but you get to ski the mountain for the whole year well untill the snow melts, You can also mountain bike at some mountains and season passes let you in to bike aswell as ski so if you are into biking that could be another option with the season pass but we are talking about skiing, Id recommend getting some basic ski lessons like how to turn slow down and get up after a fall, If you're like me you need only 2 lessons and self teach yourself the rest of the way, There is a point where you need to take lessons again due to the fact that there is only so much that you can teach yourself for example i took freestyle lessons then race lessons to increase my style, You are probaly thinking why take two completly different lessons why would you take freestyle then take race, Well the reason behind that is so you can see how both skiing styles work and merge them into a hybrid. If you are like me you are probaly wanting to hit the road now and ski but if it is summer or the mountain you want to go to is far away you can always go to an indor skiing centre which is like a giant freezer. Normaly there are freestyle features and a nice slope to practice on but remember it is a indor skiing centre so the amount of terrain you can ski is very limited.

Remember ski boots are hard to walk in so be carefull
