Facts about Fallow Deer:
- At two years old, male Fallow deer begin to grow their antlers.
- Fallow deer have very sharp vision.
- A Fallow doe only bares one fawn at a time, although twins aren't uncommon.
- Fallow deer have very good eyesight, and can see the minutest details from great distances.
- Fallow deer have two different colour coat phases: Summer phase, and winter phase.
- Fallow fawns are born a pale sandy colour, and become white during their second summer.

Fallow Deer are an Eurasian species, and found widely across Europe, and western Asia.
they have also been introduced in Argentina, Chile, US, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
Fallow Deer are herbivorous grazers.
They eat grass, leaves, acorns, sweet chestnuts, young shoots, heather, cereals, bark, herbs and berries.
Threats and predators:
Fallow deer are preyed on by humans, and any large predators that occur in their area,
such as wolves, cougars, and bears.
