~ REARING LAMBS AT YOUNG ~

I am a mother of lambs at a certain time of year. Some of the lambs mothers die or have problems with them so I look after them from August till the start of November...

While I have the lambs at a young age I feed them 5 times a day with a measurement of 150mills of water and 3 scoops of starter milk in a bottle and a rubber tit, as they get older I increase the milk until they are weened at the end of October/start of November.

Steps to making the milk

  1. Get a bottle, lamb tit, whisk, jug and milk powder.

  2. Put warm water in a jug with water measured at 150mills.
  3. Put milk powder in the jug and whisk.
  4. Pour into lamb bottle and put the lid on and feed the lamb.
