Toyota Supra MK4 used ABS system and smart brakes. This helped the car to achieve the best braking performance on any road-legal production in 1997. It recorded a 70 mph ( 113km/h) - 0 braking distance of 149 ft ( 45m ). The test was conducted by "Car and Driver" magazine, and the record remained unbroken until 2004.
