Items in Genshin Impact are individual objects or units that players can obtain. Most items can be accessed from the Inventory or Archive, while others can only be seen in Menus.
General Items
- Artifacts - Equipments used to increase the Attributes of characters.
- Namecards - Backgrounds used to display in the Player Profile.
- Weapons - Equipment used by characters to attack.
- Character Development Items - Items used to upgrade characters.
- Food - Items characters and the Party can be fed with obtain buffs.
- Potions - Items that can add buffs to the Party.
- Fishing Rods - Rods used to go Fishing.
- Furnishings - Objects that can be placed in the Serenitea Pot.

- Adventure Items - Items found during exploration to submit.
- Bundles - Packs of items bought or earned
- Currencies - Items used to exchange for other items.
- Reliquary - Items uses to obtain Artifacts.
- Sigils - Items found during exploration unique to each region that can be exchanged.
- Very Special Item - Birthday Cake for the Traveler.
- Wishing Items - Currencies used to perform Wishes.
Other Items
- Story Key - Item used to unlock Story Quests.
- Original Resin - Item used to obtain rewards from Ley Line Blossoms and Irminsul Trees in Domains.
- Chests - Objects found in the open world containing items.
- Components - Objects placed during the Divine Ingenuity event.
- Constellation Activation Materials - Items used to activate Constellations of characters.
- Consumables - Items that can only be used once.
- Event Items - Items obtained ruing Events that expire at the end of the event.
- Minerals - Rocks and Ore.
